LAWA Van Nuys Airport Runway 16R Rehabilitation

Wagner Engineering & Survey, Inc (WES) established a control network of semi-permanent monuments at 500 foot intervals along each side of the runway. WES surveyed cross sections at 100 foot intervals along with runway centerline, edges of runway pavement (75 feet off centerline), existing edge of shoulder and 15 feet off existing shoulder. Existing condition topographic mapping was included for the run-up and blast fence area and noted all in-pavement lights and utility structures on all sides of the runway.
